Nodaway County health officials confirm 10th COVID-19 death


MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Nodaway County Health Department announced a 10th COVID-19 death in the county over the weekend. The only information released about the victim was that it was a man in his 60s.

The Health Department also confirmed 11 more cases of COVID-19 over the weekend. This now brings the total number of cases up to 760; 62 of those cases are still active.

Northwest Missouri State University says 14 of those cases involve Northwest students or employees. Health officials continue to urge the public to social distance when possible and practice good hygiene.
